Boasting Your Memory and Brain Function


There are ways to boost your memory and improve brain function.

Berries - Especially blueberries, there are numerous research and
studies that have shown that blueberries can do wonders for your
memory, even as you age. Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries
are loaded with antioxidants.

Fresh Spinach, Broccoli, Romaine Lettuce- all very high in folic acid and studies have shown that folic acid foods decline memory problems.

Green Leafy Vegetables- arugula, chard, kale, collard greens.

Seeds- Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, ground flaxseed on your cereal or oatmeal or any food, sesame seeds or bread items with sesame seeds are all great for boosting your memory and attention span and focus.

Fish- salmon, tuna, herring, are filled with omega 3 fatty acids and works great for brain functionn.

Nuts-unsalted cashew, walnuts, hazelnuts, peanuts, almonds are high in Vitamin E and zinc and helps to decrease any loss of memory.

Turmeric-a yellow Indian spice, found in Indian food is very useful in treating people who suffered memory loss, those with Alzheimer and preventing yourself from memory problems. You can use in preparing soups, curry, Indian food and eggs.

Eggs - rich in choline,enhances your memory.


Exercise- Exercise is gets oxygen to the brain; take a walk for 20-30 minutes, do cardio

Puzzles - Crossword puzzles, word puzzles, puzzles where you have to put together,?do rubik”Ēs cube are exercises for the brain.

Learn new things - take up new hobby, playing a new instrument, learning a craft or skill or a foreign language.

Play online games moderately that require you to think,educational games and intriguing, challenging board games

Read books, and magazines often

Get 6-8 hours of sleep daily.  If you get 3-5 hours of sleep daily,it will affect your ability to think clearly, to focus, rememberthings and your neurons will not work properly.  It is best to go to sleep no later than 11pm.
